At the international Conference of the EORNA (European Operating Room Nurses Association), hosted in the Hague the Netherlands from May 16-19, 2019 Hennie Mulder, Operating Room Nurse and member of the GS1 Clinical Advisory Committee and Els van der Wilden, GS1 Director Healthcare Providers presented two duo presentations. Participants from 41 countries attended the conference.

The European Operating Room Nurses Association exists to enhance and develop perioperative patient care across Europe. It does this by:

• Promoting and maintaining a high standard of perioperative patient care
• Being the influential voice of perioperative nurses in Europe
• Linking and collaborating with relevant European and international organizations
