Successful launch for GS1 GDSN Maintenance Release 3.1.3
GS1 GDSN has announced the successful launch of GS1 GDSN Maintenance Release 3.1.3, an update to the GS1 Global Data Synchronisation Network (GS1 GDSN) standard.
This release encompasses the implementation of the June 2017 Global Product Classification (GPC) publication, the addition of new codes, attributes and enhancements to existing attributes including increased field lengths and making certain attributes repeatable for language and values. In addition new modules were added to support functionality around child nutrition and product formulation statements.
This standard update was made possible by the dedicated work of the GMD-SMG group.
With the successful launch of GS1 GDSN Maintenance Release 3.1.3, we will continue to monitor, communicate and collaborate with the GS1 GDSN community to gather feedback and inform on future releases.
