GS1 Switzerland’s latest healthcare event the 14 September 2016 reached an audience of over 160 stakeholders from healthcare industry, hospital and other healthcare related organisations. The two hosts, Christian Hay and Roland Weibel, led the program. Nine speakers from Switzerland and abroad reported their experiences about material master data management, EDI, traceability, improved patient safety and the new European Medical Device Regulation. On this day, the Swiss Technical Group Healthcare Supplies published the Order-2-Cash Guide in Healthcare and a complete set of the harmonised Business Messages for GDSN und EDI. The German translation of the GS1 healthcare video “GS1 Standards in Healthcare” had its premiere.
