When Unit Gross Weight is provided in this segment the measurement provided relates to the total gross weight of one single despatch unit in the goods item. The number of despatch units of the goods item that all have the same quoted gross weight is specified in the EQN segment when different from the number of despatch units specified in the GID segment. |

When Gross Weight is provided the measurement relates to the total gross weight of a number of despatch units in the goods item. The number of despatch units of the goods item that together have the quoted gross weight is specified in the EQN segment when different to the number of despatch units specified in the GID segment. |
