Azzam Al Othman

Dr. Azzam is the Surveillance Director of the Medical Device Sector at the Saudi Food & Drug Authority. He has managed and participated in many strategic projects within SFDA. Dr. Azzam holds a Master degree in Health Services Administration, and has more than ten years’ experience in MD regulations, both pre & post market.

Dr. Azzam is a member of WG9, a MD device identification Asian Harmonization working party (AHWP/GHWP). He is also a member in ISO standard committee for the ophthalmic device and the national committee for Classification and Standards of health services and products.
